To apply for a Tanzania Tourist Visa you will need to provide:

Tourist visas:

• Original passport; which must be valid for at least the next 6 months from date of application
• Completed and signed visa application form
• 2 recent passport photographs (scanned photos printed on ordinary paper will not be accepted)
• Copy of flight confirmation showing both dates of entry and exit for those requiring a double entry visa *
  *Double entry can only be used to enter Tanzania for a second time if travelling from Kenya; Uganda;
    Rwanda or Burundi only during the validity of the visa
• Pre-paid; self-addressed; special delivery envelope

Business visas:

• Original passport; which must be valid for at least the next 6 months from date of application
• Completed and signed visa application form
• 2 recent passport photographs (scanned photos printed on ordinary paper will not be accepted)
• Letter of invitation from the Tanzania counterpart with the purpose of the visit; the duration of the stay and the number of entries and length of the visa required
• Letter from current employer stating the purpose of the visit; the duration of the stay and the number of entries and length of the visa required; the name of the company to be visited and accepting financial responsibility for the applicant
• Pre-paid; self-addressed; special delivery envelope
